Welcome to Your District 86 Toastmasters Website!

Welcome to the new District 86. District 86 was formed when District 60 was split into two districts, District 60 and the new District 86. District 86 now serves about 4,500 Toastmasters in Southwestern, Central & Northern Ontario from just west of London and the Niagara Peninsula in the south, to Mississauga and York region in the east, to Sault St. Marie and Timmins in the north.

With fifty years of success, we have the experience, knowledge and skills that we can bring into our new District. This gives us a solid foundation and together we will succeed by "Creating a New Tomorrow". I believe that we are one of the most dynamic districts in Toastmasters International. Why do I believe that? "Creating a New Tomorrow" is a call to grow our communication and leadership skills. It is a call to help our fellow members reach their goals. It is a call to make ourselves better people and better Toastmasters.

The future is what we make of it. It is ours to shape. Tomorrow will always come. What kind of tomorrow do you want? A tomorrow that is full of possibilities, hope and inspiration?

Each time you venture out of your club, take the knowledge and inspiration back to your club. If we make it our personal goal to ensure that every member gets the most from their Toastmaster experience, we are helping to "Create a New Tomorrow", for ourselves and for our world.

I know that the members of District 86 will bring dedication and inspiration to this inaugural year. We are the pioneers that will set the standards for years to come. What we do now will be seen and felt in years to come because you are "Creating a New Tomorrow".
